The book is divided into four symbolic units, each containing several scientific articles: Belarusian Literary Word, National Consciousness of Belarusians, Belarusian-Serbian Relations in History, Serbian Philosophers Loyal to Belarus. It is interesting that they are followed by congratulations from Serbian friends and associates to Prof. Dr. Ivan Čarota on the occasion of his anniversary, a biography of the author, as well as a photo album that follows the professor's life from his student days to the present.
Why is this book significant? In the opinion of Professor Dr. Zoran Milošević, Belarusian national thought is extremely underrepresented in Serbian political science, little is said and little is known about it, so this book is crucial for mutual acquaintance. Given that the book covers all important issues regarding Belarusian culture, national consciousness, historical and contemporary relations, its importance is great in mutual acquaintance and expansion of relations between two fraternal peoples who often shared the same or very similar historical fate.
Only in the future will the true potential and significance of this book be revealed, which will be of crucial importance to experts studying the relationship between Belarus and Serbia.
