Summary

The thematic collection ANALYTICAL CENTERS: Role in Creating Public Policies in Serbia (edited by Dr. Nada Raduški, scientific advisor and head of the Center for the Study of Democracy and Political Parties at the Institute for Political Studies, Belgrade), was created as a result of joint scientific research work by associates of the Center for the Study of Democracy and Political Parties and other researchers of the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade, as well as at the invitation of engaged experts from individual scientific institutions, centers, faculties and educational institutions dealing with this topic.

The works presented in this collection aim to contribute to a better understanding of the basic elements, key determinants and characteristics of analytical organizations, to encourage further scientific and professional, theoretical and practical research, as well as critical observations on the goals, relevance and their influence in modeling public policies and public opinion.

In the future, think tanks will undoubtedly be more and more present and necessary, with an increasingly prominent role, given the major social changes, Europeanization, globalization and technological innovations. The demand for their research results, expertise, proposals and recommendations, new and alternative ideas and ways of solving numerous issues and problems in the complex processes of managing the ethno-demographic, socio-economic and political development of the state, will be increasing, which together creates a permanent challenge for future comprehensive scientific studies in this area.

The collection includes the following papers:
