THE MUDDLY AGE AND THE HEALING OF AMBROSE, is the title of a monograph in which the author Ljubinko Milosavljević specifically attempted to point out the senselessness of the tendency, not only in our country but also in the world, that an increasing percentage of the population lives in cities, where "the day begins when the day ends", and that vast expanses, areas that traditionally belonged to the countryside, are left to the wild.
The muddy age is a metaphor with which the author wants to point out the historical degeneration of the human race, into which we fell after the golden, silver, bronze and iron ages. And then there is ambrosia, which easily spreads, disperses and grows without anyone's help and dangerously endangers human health. Strong villages that were swallowed by cities have become the best breeding grounds for weed dust. Today, when life is understood as fun and entertainment, since we have all become over-literate and over-educated, no one wants to live in the countryside anymore.
