Сажетак

Овај рад се бави са концептуалним приступима у разумевању класификације на јаке и слабе државе. У том смислу, ана­лиза започиње са идентификовањем две димензије државног капацитета: ангажовањем ресурса за остварење јавних политика и легитимношћу, то јест, реализацијом тих циљева. Инструментална димензија државе је надопуњена димензијом обезбеђивања и испоруке јавних добара. Претходно имплицира раздвојеност држа­ве и друштва, аутономију државе и, генерално, третман државе из технократске перспективе. Завршни део рада је је критика мерења државне снаге заснованог на перформансама формалних институција стављањем акцента на идеју државне моћи као подручја сложених и динамичних друштвених односа који условљавају функционисање државног апарата.
