PROMENE U SISTEMU SOCIJALNE ZAŠTITE – NUŽNOST ILI IZBOR

SUICID I PANDEMIJA TOKOM PRVE GODINE PANDEMIJE KOVIDA 19 U SRBIJI: IZMEĐU STRAHA, PORODIČNOG NASILJA I USAMLJENOSTI

Sažetak

Zdravstvena kriza izazvana globalnim širenjem virusa Kovid-19, ima brojne negativne implikacije na sve društvene sfere i stavlja brojne države, sisteme, ali i pojedince, pred višestruke izazove. Restriktivne mere koje su vlade zemalja donosile od početka pandemije sa ciljem sprečavanja (nekontrolisanog) širenja virusa imaju negativne efekte ne samo na globalnu ekonomiju i pojedince koji su u povećanom riziku, već i mentalno zdravlje celokupne populacije. Nesigurnost zaposlenja, gubitak posla, konstanto prisustvo osećanja straha za sopstveno, ali i zdravlje bliskih ljudih, depresija i usamljenost su samo neki od faktora rizika koji su u pozitivnoj korelaciji sa stopom samoubistva. Stoga je opšti predmet ovog rada analiza uticaja pandemije tokom prve godine na stope samoubistva u Srbiji kroz prizmu faktora rizika za mentalno zdravlje koji su se javili, odnosno naročito intenzivirani kao posledica primena mera koje su imale kao cilj zaštitu zdravlja stanovništva i rastrećenje zdravstvenog sistema. Cilj rada se ogleda u komparaciji broja samoubistva u godinama koje su prethodile pandemiji i tokom 2020. godine, kada su i preduzete mere, kao što su zabrana i/ili ograničenje kretanja i kontakata i socijalna izolacija, bile najrestriktivnije sa stanovišta ljudskih prava i sloboda. U radu je data analiza na koji način i u kom intezitetu su potencijalno ove mere uticale na mentalno zdravlje populacije, kao i kakve su projekcije uticaja ovih faktora rizika na suicid u Srbiji u predstojećem periodu.
