NASILЈE U INTIMNOM PARTNERSKOM ODNOSU: RODNA ASIMETRIJA ILI RODNA SIMETRIJA

Sažetak

Nasilje prema ženama poslednjih petnaest godina u Srbiji dobija sve veću pažnju opšte i stručne javnosti. I pored toga postoji dosta nerazumevanja osnovnih karakteristika fenomena, čak i kod profesionalaca, što umanjuje efekte postojećih me­ra i politika, uključujući i zaštitu žena. U radu su prikazani glavni izazovi u vezi sa razumevanjem rodne dimenzije nasilja u intimnom partnerskom odnosu. Nasuprot tendenciji da se žene u partnerskoj relaciji prikažu jednako fizički agresivne kao i muškarci, brojna istraživanja rasprostranjenosti, učestalosti i posledica potvrđuju da je nasilje muškaraca prema ženama ozbiljnije, da ga čine teža i učestalija dela, većeg raspona manifestacija i sa težim posledicama. Muškarci i žene mogu podjednako da izraze agresiju tokom sukoba, ali kada se radi o nasilju koje je motivisano kontrolom, koje ne zavisi od situacije, već je više sistemske prirode, rodna asimetrija je jasna. Rezultati analize nedvosmisleno potvrđuju da je neopravdano predstavljati nasilje u intimnom partnerskom odnosu rodno neutralnim pojmovima. Rodna perspektiva treba da je u osnovi svih mera za zaštitu i podršku žrtava nasilja u intimnom partnerskom odnosu.
